Question:
Hi, brother has bought a Black 330e from Digital-Point that claimed to play RCE encoded discs, put in R1 Stuart Little 2, & got the ‘MAP OF DEATH’.
Tried various workarounds, as per previous Tosh players (Other non RCE R1 then RCE disc, & MEM T1 C1 Play Clear, but to no avail.)
Anyone able to play R1 Stuart Little 2 on their SD330e ??
Anyone know how to make them Manually R1 ?? – any info on 220e manual selection, or 330e manual selection appreciated.
Can confirm that A Knights Tale is indeed RCE, & plays fine, so SL2 must be a revised version (if i'm not mistaken, that means Spiderman & MIIB might not work, & any subsequent releases, has anyone tried these titles on their SD330e ? :()
So, anyone who has played SL2, Spiderman or MIIB on their SD330e, i would be interested to here from as well - Thx

(I know it's been hot, but loads of people have said that they have bought these players from Amazon (& must have used them), so all i want to know is if anyone is in the same boat?, or all is hunky-dorey in SD330e Amazon land!)

I've tested Spider-Man and MIB 1 & 2 (RCE) and play fine, but the player I have is <u><b>not</b></u> from Amazon.
If it's been sold as RCE compatible and isn't you could have grounds for a refund....
I bought mine from Amazon and have had no problems with known RCE titles - but I don't have any of the ones mentioned above.
Thx for the replies all, i vaguely remember that Col/tri were doing something different with RCE with SL2 , but will have to dig deeper.
Feroze - can u manually select regions with your multi-region Tosh ?
Also, anyone mind doing Zoom 6 0 6 Zoom on there player.
My bruv's says;
Boot Rom Version: v1.2
Main Rom version: v1.200 - R2
OSD: Eng/Fre/Ger/Spa/Ita
V-FORMAT: PAL/AUTO
Dimmer: Normal/Dimmed off

Radiohead - We are investigating this option, but Digital-Point aren't being (let's say) that 'Customer Friendly' about it.

The firmware on my player says the same thing except for the line:
Main ROM Version: 1.200 - R1
OOps - Thx Way_2_FAT, Room/ROM (lol).
Thx for the info, u probably used a R1 last.... or your player is set to R1 default, so that it plays all RCE titles ?!
