You can't hack Sony's yourself, you have to get a shop like Richer Sounds to do it via a "magic" remote.
Mine was pre hacked by Richer Sounds as well.
You can also loan the remotes for a fee from certain places.
And i think the forum sponsor at the bottom of this page does them as well.
