Sony KV32FQ75. Anyone got one?
Question:

Spotted this being sold off locally for 699 + VAT (822 UKP). Seems like a lot of TV for that price with dual tuners, etc. Gets a good review on the HCC site.
Does anyone own one of these and would you recommend it?
Its of course an older model, and my mate (a TV engineer) advises to stay clear of Sonys made in the last 2 years.

Answers:

In a word, no. I've read bad things about this model over at AV forums. Besides this TV has been discontinued for well over a year & if it's just a display model the retailer has left I would hate to think how many times its been turned off & on.

Answers:

2 off left, 1 display, 1 boxed. The more I search, the more scared I become. This looks like a real hit-n-miss model!

Answers:

Me and my ex had one of these; very impressive and didn't have any of the problems posted on the AV Forums. TBH if you read through that thread some of the complaints are OTT IMO.
Only problem is when we split I decided to leave it :(

Answers:

I got one when it first came out after numerous prbs with Panasonic models. It's an excellent television, and I've had absolutely no problems with it, must be almost 2 years now?

Answers:

i got one - a quality set, had it for a year and a half
saying that, i DO have scrolling bars but i can only see them when i set the channel on cable to one that isn't broadcasting a picture, failing that they are negligible
for that price, assuming it's unused, i'd buy it
