Question:
A friend of mine has got one of these, that i'm thinking of getting for my bro, but it's just the DVD player/amp (no speakers/sub).
1) Can you connect normal hi-fi speakers to it?
2) Are there adaptors for the speaker sockets? (Theyre weird two pin things).
3) Anybody got an old set fom theirs left over from an upgrade that they might want to flog me? :)
TIA,
Mike.
Anybody?
I wouldn't recommend it, as a mate of mine plugged in some Gale speakers to his DAVS300 and apparently blew the amp! Try it at your peril!

These things are not designed to have anything other then the original speakers supplied with it connected. To try to connect anything else to it you do so at your (or your mates) risk!
If you want to connect "normal" speakers, then your mate should buy a decicated AV package or amp, and flog the above, or move it into a spare room.
