Question:
The missus is buying me a widescreen telly for my birthday!
I've got my eyes on the Sony KD32DX40 and was wondering on the pitfalls.
I need to ensure that it works with the following as I've seen on these forums and elsewhere that there is only 1 RGB Scart:
NTL STB
Sony DAV-S300
Nintendo Gamecube (PAL)
I'm sure that it's not going to be a massive problem but I just want to be sure.
We're not flush so we're getting it on 12 months interest free. I was originally going to get it from Sony but the Father-In-Law has spotted a deal in Dixons whereas the Box is £50 cheaper and they throw in a Sony DVPNS305S. He wants a DVD player and he said that he'd buy it off us, however the Dixons offer ends tomorrow (28/02/03).
Normally, I wouldn't touch Dixons with a bargepole or am I being a bit sniffy?

Go to John Lewis and get them to price match the dixons deal. That way you'll also get one of the best 5year warranties for free!
