just ordered one of these from bargaincrazy, and was wondering if it can be made multi region and disable macrovision.
any links or help would be great

Well it will probably be done with either a chip or an Engineer's Remote. There is a sticky thread at the top of here for these kind of requests, an Justin posts in there and is a good place to get these from ;) No idea about the Macrovision though, do you need to hook up to a projector which gets effected by it?
Kryten is right but, whilst not wishing to deprive of the pro's of money, I've heard that the NS700/900 remote hack works. Search for it. You'll need a Pronto or a PDA and I'm not responsible if it screws your machine up. Research it first.
