Question:
I want to connect my TV to my HI-FI speakers so the sound no longer comes out from the TV, Is the cable I need to do this with a Phono to Phono??
And also do I need to do somthing different to have my XBOX sound through the Speakers, or should that work if the TV is hooked up:confused: ??
TIA
Brad
It really depends on what outputs you've got on your TV.
if your tv and hifi have the red and white sockets then a phono lead is what you need.
the xbox sound can be transferred to the tv via scart and then the tv would forward it on to the hi-fi.
Your TV might be more broke than you think and you won't get sound out of the phono's/SCART socket either - but good luck!.
Moving to hardware forum anyway :)

Who said its Broke? the other guys solved it for me, sort of. With the XBOX, its connected to my VCR via scart and the VCR is connected to the TV. Is it not possible to have the sound comming from the XBOX then??
Sorry if im getting you confused, but its hard when I dont understand :oh-hum:
Your VCR will definately have phono outputs so you could connect that to your hifi.
Then you would have to watch tv through your video to hear all tv progs through the speakers.
