Toshiba SD-220E or 420E?
Question:

I can get a 220E for £120 or a 420E for £140. Is it worth me spending the extra? I've heard the only differences are the 420 can decode Dolby 5.1 and also can convert NTSC to PAL.
My TV is a 7 year old Toshiba 2535DB and I dont really have any other home cinema stuff yet, I'm kinda new to it. Would I still be able to watch US discs on the 220E (both are multiregion btw) used my current TV? If so what's the advantage of the 420E NTSC to PAL thing?

Answers:

Richer sounds right?
The 220e isn't £120 multi-region is it? I price-matched with amazon to get it to £110 (they beat it by £10)...fantastic.
Although the 420 was aesthetically more pleasing, the 420 is actually based on a LG 5000 board (I think) therefore somehow its not as good....220 is toshiba hardware.
Hoep this helps..

Cheers mate. I have actually bought the 220E (it was £120 cos in this months What HiFi advert that's what it is ;-) ), but I was kicking myself on the way home thinking maybe I should have payed the extra £20 for the 420. I have been considering exchanging it tomorrow. You reckon the 220E is better?
