I notice that Thechtronics are doing it for under £600 (as apposed to Sony Center's £800).
can anyone advise if it is worth buying or are there others to consider in that price range? I am thinking of getting a new TV too so I might be able to get a package deal.
Relevant thoughts much appreciated.

Techtronic's price doesn't include VAT. Also search for them in the supplier forum, they're not recommended if things go wrong.
Hotkit (http://www.hotkit.co.uk) do it for £630 + £10 delivery (inc VAT). I have used them several times (well the actual shop which is ENL in Nottingham, and I also believe they trade as Superfi), and most recently for a DAVS 550 which was an internet only price. If the 550 is anything to go by, the 880 should be a nice bit of kit :)
