Transfer 35mm Slides To DVD
Question:

I need some info on transferring about 80 35mm slides to dvd.
Does anyone know how I can process this?
Ideally, I would like to view them thru my dvd player and not view them on a computer monitor.
I would like to be able to Still/Step thru them from a button on the dvd remote.
I would like it to be like some of the extras on certain dvds like "To Catch A Thief" where you can step thru behind the scenes stills from the movie.
Does anyone know how this can be done or what type of transfer process is involved?
Thanks In Advance.
John

Could you not get a Photo CD made up? This standard has been around for quite a while, I believe it's basically standard CD-ROM format with the pictures in .PCD format. Some DVD players will accept them - check your manual :)

Ulead do an excellent piece of software called DVD Picture show which will likely do what you need. Of course you will need a 35mm film scanner and a DVDwriter.

This (http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/92056.php) is a basic method and uses a freeware program.
Haven't tried it but it looks simple enough. Might give it a go myself.
