Well, bingo! Mine has decided to join the club - it refuses to read all discs - so, does anyone know the cost to repair one of these machines?
I'm thinking it more cost effective to bin it; but before I do - is there a likely market in non-working Sony goods? :norty: Anyone care to suggest what I might get for it? A fiver...?! :shocker:
I've had two of these go the same way, I think I was quoted about £150 to repair one. I still haven't bothered to pick it up from the repair shop.
I still have the other one and have used it a couple of times to test equipment as the fault only occurs at the end of the disc. Will more than likely dump it.
You could offer it on the classified for P&P only, someone might like it for spares or tinkering with :eek:
Shame though, I thought they were excellent quality otherwise :(
