Question:
Im thinking if getting some SAVE325 speaker set and the description says that the amp is AUTO on/off on the sub. Does anyone have one of these and can you set this to Manual so it never switches off unless you switch it off yourself.
My pop has a Yammy with this function and its crap, keeps turning off and sometimes doesnt come on when there is sound. and you can set the tammy to Auto OFF.

The amp has a switch on the back. In one mode it is always on unless powered down from the power switch at the front. In the other mode it will go to sleep if it does not see a signal (its green power led turns red). It will awaken when the signal returns, but the delay (2-3 seconds) is noticeable.
Is this defoinately the 325 set m8

I meant sub. I have seen this on 3 different Sony subs but not the one you specifically mention. On the ones I have seen the sleep function can be over-ridden as I am sure it can on your 'Pops'.
