You obviously didn't look very hard.

I've got one and it's a solid enough machine. Paid £450 for it when it first came out. They are now floating around for about £200. It's built like a brick,very solid and very heavy.
Picture and sound quality are excellent. There's loads of options to tweak, but you can't help feel that it's a bit out of date already.
Don't get it for SACD. Total waste of money and I'm cross with myself for getting sucked in. Used it twice since I've had it, it is a long long way from amazing.
The reason you may have trouble finding lots of info is that the product was recalled for a while after a load of teething troubles with playback being too dark. Thankfully mine has had no such problems.
To give advice, I'd say shop around there's pobably better about.
I now use a HTPC and am more than happy with it.
