Question:
My "serial upgrading" brings me to the TV now & I wonder if I can have opinions on changing my Panasonic 28" 50hz widescreen to a 32" 100hz ...
I have the Panny on my own cabinet (custom made to fit 2 x STB 1 x Denon 3801 1 x VCR so I only need a TV ...
My budget is £800 (might squeeze another £100 - dont tell the missus!) ...
I was considering a Sony FX65 but I believe they have now brought out a FX66 (?) but I havent seen any reviews yet ...
Never really liked my Panny coz of a slight flicker in one corner when playing R1 DVDS (which most of my collection are) ...
What other TVS / Brands would be worth considering ? I have read lots of mags / reviews online but keep coming back to Sony
Help me pleeeeeeeaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeee ... Paul ;)
I've got a pany 32pl10 which i'm very happy with - cheapest place i know of is robertsons-online @ £767 inc vat & delivery (i've price matched them through barclaycard, actually purchased it from john lewis for £995 to get the 5 year guarantee). I'm very happy with it, one of only a handful of basic stereo tellies out there without any surround sound (obviously the sonys you mention are too) plus it fits nicely in the hole in my lounge.

Fits the bill but slightly more than your budget alternatively you may be able to pick up a 32FQ75 for £1000 in store. If more stock arrives that may go back online where it was £899.95.
