when i first got my sony (ns300) dvd player it would play all vcd's, now only certain one's work, even one's ive played before. any idea's anyone? p.s. my fave pron dont work :(
It's your DVD player developing AI - it will only play stuff that it likes or that's artistic from now on. For example it'll quite happily play any of the 'Three Colours...' films even though no-one actually likes them.
Are the discs getting dirty?
tried cleaning but no joy. just comes up no disc.
Might be worth trying a head cleaner on the player. My 725s started to skip and refuse to play certain discs, I put a head cleaner through it and it's fine again.
