High Qualtity Amps
Question:

My parents  are looking to buy an amp for £4-500. Good stereo sound quality is most important dare I say.
Has to be integrated, as an amp & procesor is too complicated for them (they've tried my DSP-E800). Is Marantz still the way to go?
Secondly what's the best £200 player? They'd be happy with a Pioneer 444, but they don't exist anymore do they?
thanks!
If it helps they've got the KEF Q55 surround package

Wait for the new Marantz models, which are now iminent. As for a DVD player, anything like a Pioneer Dv350 (or a Dv454 if you need optical out, otherwise they are identical) would be fine for anyone on a budget.
Cheers
