Sony DVP NS700V Question
Question:

Received this Player Yesterday from Richer Sounds:
The Screen on the Player is Constantly Blank, although I do recall it working Yesterday, I think this has come about after I setup the Player, but can't find an Option which allows for it to be switched on or off.
Is there an Option, if so where, otherwise this Player needs to go back?
Please HELP as my Brain can't cope anymore, still haven't got any sleep since coming off Night Shift!

Set it to Jacket Picture, if your DVD supports this, you get a nice picture of the DVD on the screen (LOTR R1 does), else you get the Sony SACD/DVD/CD player logo.

I mean the Slim Screen Display on the Actual Player. ;)

I think you mean the LCD display.
With the player on and in stop mode go into the setup menu using the display button and the suitcase type thing at the bottom of the page.
The option to turn on the display, turn it off or dimmer it using auto is in one of these setup menus. I think it is either the second or third one down.
