Sony KV-32FQ75 Model Versions
Question:

Hi
I'm hoping that someone here might know what differences there are with the "S" version and the "U" version or if it's there different revisions of the same unit?
TIA

Answers:

I dunno.
I've got a KV-32FQ75U. I can tell you the features on that if you want. What difference were you concerned about ?

I work for Comet's internet team and a customer being wise asked the above question unfortunately I could not answer it and could not find the answer on the avforums or avsforums either. I believe it's the usual this is a new revision without some of the more common faults previously seen, we'll stick a new letter on the box, but as is usual finding this sort of info is ridiculously hard.
Thanks for all your replies and I can say if that potential customer is reading this thread that we no longer have them in most area's of the UK.
Let's hope Sony get the new FQ80 closer to perfection than these.
I'd also like to say that Loewe are now available from ourselves aswell and appear to be nearest to perfection. I rate Toshiba and recommend them to friends but none of the big 4 have an easy ride anymore. What happened to quality control I ask myself as more and more problems seem to crop up with the big names????
