hopefully pickin the player up tuesday as a replacement for my wharfie at last so wondered of any pro's and cons? all the hifi mags give it a great review.....but you may know better,it from richer sounds £144 multi region BTW.

thanks M8 that made excellent reading and is swaying me towards another player as it sounds a lot of hassle swapping it etc, im back at step one,seems layer change is slow as well......:oh-hum:



All new 220 players should have the 1.4 firmware......I've got one and have had no problems playing discs so far, and the layer changes are hardly noticeable (depending on discs though, and no worse than most other players anyway)

I guess you know i bought the 700, i was tempted by the tosh but while i was there one was being brought back:eek:. Saying that i was weighing up a nad amp and one of those got brought back as well :(.



I just got one the other week from Richer Sounds (the price has just gone down on their site :D ) and have been very happy with it so far.
The only problem I've encountered is the lipsynch is out playing SVCD's but you only need to press the Angle button twice to fix it.
