Question:
I have a Sony Hi-fi seperate system, it cost £1300 in 1990, i don't use it to its full potential, so i am thinking about selling it. i have no photos and can't find anything on the web, it is a cracking looking system, the condition is good, i think everything works on it, i don't use the tape deck or turntable, i have used perhaps once or twice.
model numbers are

COMPACT DISC PLAYER....................CDP-M48
TWIN TAPE DECK..............................TC-V702
REMOTE CONTROL (HAS VELCRO ON REAR)
2 INSTRUCTION MANUALS FOR ALL THE ABOVE

I don't think you will get very much for it, perhaps 20% of the total you paid for if you are lucky. Perhaps you should contact a specialist hi fi shop to see what they suggest.
I wouldn't bothered selling it. If you don't use it in main living room, move it to another room ie Bedroom when you could use it a little more often.
i would be happy with 20% :)
Try and talk to a specialist hi fi shop and perhaps use the hi fi as part exchange for something you really want ie new amp or whatever you might need. It will take the hassle of selling away ;-)
Sometimes Cash Converters make a suprising offer. Just make sure you ask for more than you want when they ask you what you think it's worth.
